Wassup?!

I didn’t mean to drop off of the face of the Earth, but it’s been kind of crazy lately and I haven’t been able to keep up.  I’m back now though, so WooT!

How was everyone’s weekend?

Mine was okay, I was housesitting for my Aunt all last week and finally got to come home on Friday night…it was nice to sleep in my own bed, and that cats certainly missed me (and have been all up in my shit since then!) :P

My new semester started on Friday.  I’m taking two Marketing classes and an Organizational Behavior class.  Fun stuff…or something.  I’m determined now to procrastinate so bad this semester though.  I don’t want to be rushing around at the last minute trying to get things done…again.

I saw Transformers 3 over the weekend, and I loved it.  Sure, it won’t be winning Best Picture anytime soon, but anytime giant robots are blowing up shit is a good time to me.

Oh…and remember that thing where I came out…due in part to finding an amazing guy?  Well…that ended.  My feelings were a bit stronger than his, unfortunately, and it came to the point where we just decided to be friends.  I’m not mad at him or anything (you can’t control how you feel, after all…) and he is a GREAT guy, it just wasn’t a good fit.  When it first happened I had my share of feelings of self loathing (am I not good enough? is it because I’m fat?), but I really don’t think that was it…or at least I hope it wasn’t…

So Gentlemen…I’m back on the market I’m going to focus on myself (work, school, getting healthy) before I throw myself back out there.  If something comes along, however, I won’t necessarily shoo it away :P

In BETTER news though…Awesome by August is making a triumphant return!  It will be hosted by myself, Kerri and Brooke again this year, it will be starting next week, and I will have more information in the next couple days (there are a few things that need to be ironed out to make it a better experience)!  So WooT to that!

First off, I’d like to apologize for scheduling Marathon Week during one of the hottest f*cking weeks this year.

Secondly, I’m going to tell you to SUCK IT UP, because it’s FRIDAY!

As it stands, I am 22.25 miles in for Marathon Week. I’m not sure if I’m putting any mileage in today, but I will definitely be finishing things up on Saturday and Sunday.

How’s your mileage going?

Tonight I’ll be chilling with the boyfriend, and tomorrow I’m going to Honfest!  It’s a magical little festival that celebrates Baltimore history…or something…

or something… :P

What’s up, ya’ll?

I’m happy to say that first week of re-energized awesome has been quite successful so far, and we enter into my first weekend of awesomeness.

What’s on the agenda?

The big thing is a party at my Mom’s house on Saturday. This will be the first major party of the year, and these are usually marked by alot of people, and a TON of food and booze.

This will also be the first people since my parent’s got the hot tub, which has been installed right next to the pool. Should be fun times!

Anywho, my goal for the weekend is to enjoy myself, but not go overboard. I drank enough last weekend to last a few months, so I don’t need to go crazy this weekend. Food wise, I’ll eat, but I won’t pig out. If there is anything extra that I want I’ll pack some up and eat it later in the week.
There are currently no plans for Sunday or Monday, but I really need to get some schoolwork done. I have about a month left in my semester, and two more assignments to do, so I need to get cracking. I also have a huge ass work report that is due by June 1st, so it’d probably be a good idea to try to knock that out. :P
Workout wise, I’ll be doing my lunchtime workout on Friday, and if I have enough time on Saturday before the party I’ll try to knock out a run. Although honestly, my Mom’s offspring are usually the errand bitches at these things, so that’ll be a workout in of itself :P I want to try to get some larger workouts in on Sunday and Monday, since I’ll have a bit more time. :)
