The last Status Report post I did was in the beginning of July.

Wow, really?

So here is the deal.  I can continue to be a little bitch and ignore these posts, and talk a big game about “coming back” over, and over, and over again while I sit on my fat ass.

Or I can own my mistakes, accept the fact that I’ve GAINED ALMOST EVERYTHING BACK and move on from there.

I’m kind of tired of being a little bitch, so it’s time to own this shit.

    I have a family reunion coming up & will see an aunt I haven’t seen since Thanksgiving ’08 when she was all impressed about my loss.
    I was 185.

  5. What do you think the issue is? How’s your food? Maybe its something in your diet that’s gotta give?? This kinda of thing is sometimes a looong process of discovery. I know it firsthand. You’ll get there.

  6. You’ll get there man, you’ve just got to get your head back in the game. First thing is to figure out what’s been causing you to stumble lately and fix that. Look back and remember what you did when you first got going on this journey, when you started out so strong.

  7. Steve – do you have a friend that is a life coach? You seem to have a good relationship with MixFit. Maybe the two of you could establish 3 or 4 weekly SMART goals. I lost 45lbs in a year and have kept it off for the past 6 months, but I still have 25 more to lose and can’t seem to get rid of it. I have hired a personal trainer/life coach, but I know they can be expensive. I’ve lost 5 lbs in the past 3 weeks which isn’t much, but it’s better than nothing. I agree with all the other comments. Read over your posts and identify what worked for you in the beginning. More importantly identify what may have triggered your “stumble” and figure out how you can get past it. You can do it Steve. You know you can because you want this.

  10. I hear ya! I was up again at this last weigh. Owning that, bad choices, yep, I made ‘em. I went back to calorie counting. Didn’t want to, kinda hate it, but I know it works for me, and right now, that’s what matters.
