So Tuesdays are generally Status Report days, but for the next couple weeks they are on hold.

I wish I could say something insightful like I’m not weighing myself because I don’t want to be controlled by a number.  While that is true to an extent, it’s really only because I’m housesitting for my aunt for the next couple weeks, so I am without scale access.  Insightfulness FAIL :-P

I still plan on losing weight though!  This isn’t an excuse to go all crazy with the food again.  So the next scale reading will be on the 22nd, so we’ll see how that goes.

I have my fitness goals though, but unfortunately I didn’t too well with them last week.

  • Run/walk (but mostly run) 20 miles this week.  FAIL! Only 10.7 miles completed.
  • Bike 30 miles. FAIL! 15.21 miles completed.
  • At least three strength training workouts. FAIL! None whatsoever.
  •

I don’t want to say it was all laziness, because I was actually kind of busy this past week.  I’ve been trying to get overtime in for my trip coming up, and I have schoolwork.  So while that kept me busy somewhat, there was still some laziness involved.  Boo!

It’s going to be more of the same work and school stuff this week, but I still want to push for some fitness goals.

    • Run/walk 20 miles. There are alot of suburban neighborhoods in this area, which I think would be good to run in.
    • Three strength training workouts. My aunt and uncle have a weight set, which means I have no excuse :-P

So there’s that.  Gotta let the dogs out now :-P

Have a great day, everyone! :)

    1. I propose grading on a more liberal scale than pass/fail. There is something WRONG were getting in 25 miles of exercise = fail. You

      are

      GOing.

    2. Yeah, you should come up with another word than FAIL. You’ll get that ingrained into your head and continue to call yourself a failure. I know why you put it and I’m guilty of not hitting a goal and calling it a failure. But later this year when you’re marathon training and you want 30 miles for the week, but only do 27, that’s not a failure by any means.

    3. Ok, how about this. Maybe look at it this way. Did you get 20 miles in? Nope. Big frakkin deal. You walked/ran 10.7 miles. That’s 10.7 miles MORE than you did before, right?! Now that’s a big frakkin deal, and one to be proud of! Same thing with cycling. Did you bike 30 miles? Nope. Big frakalakin deal. You biked 15.21 miles MORE than you did the week before, did you not?! Yup, thought so. Give yourself a hug. A BEAR HUG!~

    4. That’s great that you are planning to do some workouts while at your aunt’s place! And you’re not going to pig out on food either!!! I don’t know if I would have been as good as you!

    5. are you getting to swim at all during this? The important thing is that you are still going and you have a plan to try for. Some times we need a week of adjustment, perhaps that’s what last week was?
      and 20 miles a week? I aim for 10…. so I’m in awe. :)
danielle´s last blog ..A review of sorts

    6. I know how you feel man. Keep your head in the game, and just know that you can always click “restart” if things aren’t going as you wish.

I’ve finally updated my blog after a 3 month hiatus as an attempt to kick-start my diet and cardio routine again. Not updating the blog is not near as bad as not doing enough cardio or eating right! lol
