Yesterday, I was gushin’ about my experiences on the treadmill, which culminated into me running a mile in 10 minutes and 13 seconds, a task that seemed impossible at the time and had me gleaming with pride in myself for the rest of the day.

But that was yesterday…

…which was, like, 24 hours ago…

…and I really really REALLY wanted a 10 minute mile.

So, I tried again today, and, well…

…9 minutes and 58 seconds later…

…WooT.

  1. YEEEAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You did eet!

How did you feel afterwards? I mean of course you were proud and probably could have done a backflip, but were you breathing all crazy, tired, just fine, etc?

Maybe if you keep this up it will light a fire under me to move faster! :D

  2. Thanks Craig!

My breathing remained pretty controlled (i think), but I was sweating (obviously) and had some side stitch DURING the run which lessened afterwards. Legs weren’t/aren’t as sore afterwards today either…WooT.

  3. As much as I’m enjoying cardio right now… I can’t see myself doing any kind of running. The thought of it makes me want to wheeze. Great job, dude! Heh.

I have heard you’re supposed to do the in thru your nose out thru your mouth method, is that what you do?

  5. WOOHOO! SEEE????? I’m telling you, it’s just going to get better from here! I think you may have caught the running bug!

  6. Way to challenge yourself! It feels good to push!
