Amazing!!!!!! That's an incredible time. You should be so proud, I know we all are! I hope one day to be able to say I can do this...although I would settle for a 12 min mile! :)
You rock!

Aww! :*) Fella! Congrats! I KNEW YOU COULD DO IT! WOOOOHOOOO! That is totally awesome Steve. I mean it. Good for you. See!? I told you you wouldn't die! Trust me on this - the first mile is the worst. Once you can get through it, and you get your stride going and you get a steady tempo, you can just zone out and focus on your music or focus on tv or focus on your thoughts. I can't explain it, and I know this might sound a little premature, but I THINK I know what they are talking about when they say a "runner's high". I have seen MONUMENTAL changes in not just my weight, but my body since I picked up "running". I don't know if I just equate runner = athletic, but I've always thought runners were true athletes. And well, it just makes me feel good to consider myself on the road to becoming an athlete. :) I'm so proud of you! I knew you could do it!
